Launch Lenawee Business Bootcamp Program
This immersive course combines in-person and online learning as well as guest presenters, who have experienced business success and will mentor you in your journey. It offers one-on-one sessions and group support to help bring your business dreams to reality.
Using the Kauffman FastTrac® course, students work through a proven framework designed to support them as they start a business and begin their journey on the road to success.
Four Pillars of Launch Lenawee
This program is a launchpad for future and current small business owners to learn how to develop a business plan, run a successful business, and navigate the local economy from business development experts and mentors in a safe and encouraging environment. We’ve identified four pillars towards a successful business launch:
Business Training
From business planning to marketing strategies, our training programs equip entrepreneurs with the tools necessary for success.
Mentorship
At Launch Lenawee, entrepreneurs are paired with experienced mentors who provide invaluable guidance, advice and support.
Networking
Through networking events, meetups and connections, entrepreneurs have the chance to expand their professional network, exchange ideas and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
Micro Loans
Launch Lenawee can provide micro loans to qualified entrepreneurs, offering them the financial support they need to launch or expand their business.
How It Works
What to Expect
These business development classes are offered locally in Lenawee County Michigan, and are open to business start-ups and entrepreneurs who live in the county.
Register and Attend the Orientation
At the orientation meeting, we’ll explain the program. We will introduce the Four Pillars of the Launch Lenawee Program, and the Kaufman FastTrac training you’ll receive. You’ll learn what is expected for graduating the course, and how the mentorship and community assistance works. The cost for the program is $149.
Participate in Classroom and Online Work
We aren’t going to sugar-coat it. There’s work involved, including self-study, classroom participation, and making appointments with important connections in the community. We’ll help you any way we can, and expect that you’ll apply yourself to get your business launched!
Develop a Real Business Plan
Your assignment completion develops a full-blown business plan to start your business. In-class participation, mentorship and networking get you ready to talk with others about your business.
